Beard work, done with patience and a small comb.
The difference between a beard that frames your face and a beard that just sits on it is twenty minutes of careful line work. We use a hot towel, a soft pre-shave oil, scissor-over-comb on the cheek line and a blade finish on the neck.
Two things ruin a beard faster than anything else: a poorly set neckline and going too sharp on the cheek line. We deliberately work soft on both and let the shape build over a couple of visits if the beard is new.
What is included
- A warm pre-shave oil massaged into the beard for a minute and a half.
- A scissor-over-comb pass to bring the bulk down to the shape we agreed on.
- A line on the cheek and a soft line on the neck - we will discuss where you want the neckline set.
- A hot towel finish and a small amount of beard balm if you would like it.
- A short conversation about how to maintain it for the next three weeks.
How long it takes
Twenty to thirty minutes. A first reshape takes the longer end because we are mapping how the hair grows.
About combining it with a haircut
If you are in the chair for a precision cut, we can add the beard work in the same sitting at RM 35 instead of RM 45. Just tell the barber at the start so they can set the timing right.
Sharp lines age you. Soft lines suit you. We will pick whichever your face is asking for.
Reshape the beard, not the face.
Drop into any Quorabit and we will work with what is already there - softer where it should be, sharper where it asks for it.
