Under 12

A small chair, a patient barber, and twenty unbothered minutes.

Junior cuts are not just a shorter version of an adult cut - they need a different kind of attention. We keep a dedicated chair at every shop, a slow approach with the clippers, and a small box of comics for the in-between moments.

About a fifth of our cuts in any given month are for kids - mostly between four and eleven. We treat the visit as their visit, not the parent's. That means asking the child what they would like (not just the parent), letting them sit a moment first, and showing them the clippers running before they touch.

How a junior visit goes

  • A few minutes to get comfortable - we keep colouring books and small toys to one side.
  • A short consultation with both the child and the parent: what is the school like with hair length, what does the kid actually like?
  • The cut itself - slower than an adult cut, with breaks if the child needs them.
  • A finish photo for parents if they want one for the family group chat.
  • A small surprise from the jar at the front desk on the way out.

For first-time cuts

If it is your child's first ever haircut, mention it when you arrive. We will assign one of our calmest barbers and take whatever time it takes - we have done this for hundreds of nervous first-timers.

Best times to visit

Saturday and Sunday between 09:30 and 12:30 are our most child-friendly hours - the shop is quieter and the wait is usually under ten minutes. Weekday afternoons after school are busier but workable.

Nervous on the way in, never on the way out. The trick is mostly not rushing.

Bring the kids on a Saturday morning.

Eight Klang Valley shops, all with a junior chair, all walk-in. We will sort out the rest.
