Cookie Policy

A short, honest explanation of the cookies used on this website and how to change your preferences.

Last updated 2 April 2026

Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website. They are used for two practical purposes here: making the site work and learning how it is used. This policy explains what we use and how to change your mind at any time.

The cookies on this site

Essential

Two essential cookies. One stores your preference about whether to accept the others. The other is a session token that lets us match a form submission to the same browser session for security reasons. Both expire either when the browser closes or after one calendar year, whichever comes first. There is no way to opt out of these because the website does not work without them.

Analytics

Optional. A single anonymous identifier and a small set of metrics about the page you are reading, the country you connected from, and how long you stayed. We use this in aggregate to understand which pages are useful and which can be cut. If you choose Reject non-essential in the banner, none of these load.

How to change your mind

Click the small gear icon in the bottom-left corner of any page. The cookie banner will reappear and you can change your selection.

You can also clear cookies through your browser settings:

  • Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data → See all site data.
  • Safari: Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data.
  • Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data.
  • Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Manage and delete cookies.

Third-party content

We load fonts from Google Fonts. Google may receive your IP address as a result of that request. We do not load any social media embeds, advertising trackers, or marketing pixels on this site.

Updates to this policy

When we add or remove a cookie, this page is updated and the date at the top reflects the change. If the change is material - for example if we add a marketing cookie, which we currently do not plan to - the cookie banner will appear again to ask for fresh consent.
